Insurance

Choosing the right professional to support you and your dog is a big decision, and one of the most important things to check is whether they’re properly insured.

I hold full insurance for all the behavioural work I do, both in person and remotely. This isn’t just a box-ticking exercise — it’s about giving you complete peace of mind. Working with dogs means working with living, thinking, feeling individuals, and while every care is taken to keep sessions safe and positive, insurance ensures that you, your dog, and your home are fully protected should the unexpected ever happen.

Unfortunately, the dog training and behaviour industry in the UK is unregulated. This means anyone can set themselves up as a trainer or behaviourist without any formal qualifications, experience, or insurance. By choosing someone who’s insured, you’re making sure there’s accountability, professionalism, and a clear commitment to good practice behind the support you receive.

Being transparent about my insurance is one of the ways I aim to build trust with the people I work with. You deserve to know that you’re working with someone who takes their responsibility to you and your dog seriously, from the very first consultation through to the end of your behavioural journey.
